Production time is roughly 2-3 weeks. Please let me know if you need it sooner before purchasing.
PLEASE INCLUDE One or more clear photos of the pet - you will see a form after checkout (or if there is a preferred photo you want replicated just send and note that). I most importantly need something that shows fur color, other details of your pet and it also helps to know the breed or mix of your dog/cat.
Once I receive the photos after your made the purchase, I start assessing each one to select the best one or sometimes I will merge photos or use a reference of a pup from a similar breed (so don’t worry if your photos aren’t perfect).
The portrait would be a HAND PAINTED work of art. I use a underglaze that is fired then has glazed applied over it and is fired a second time to make the piece a stronger forever piece. This portrait will be my artist representation of your pup and I will use my artistic license to bring out the best and their cutest expression and place them in a unique environment.
Because the process makes the painting permanent, there is unfortunately no way to correct or change anything once it’s fired. My clients have been happy with being surprised at what comes out, but if you would like to be more involved I can make an exception to show the drawing before it is painted on ceramic for edits. The edits will be limited to 1 or 2.
